Hey guys and gals... new here, and need a little assistance if possible...
I was needing to ask if any of you had any 3D drawings or 3 view drawings that are accurate to scale with views of cross section, top side and front/rear. The reason I'm asking is, there are a few of us in a card model building/designing group and we design our designs from 3 view drawings into CAD then convert them ("flatten") the CAD down to a printable form, then cut, paste and glue them together. When built and the colors and textures applied, you come out with a 3 dimensional aircraft that you build from printed patterns that have the appearence of being real, or photo realistic. If any of you have something usable, I can send you the files needed to assemble the model we need the plans for.
If you've never seen Cardmodels now days... here's a really cool link for you to see what you can now do to pricision with computers now... http://www.paperwarbirds.com/html/mi...rs_Gallery.htm If any of you can help, I'd really appreciate it. We're also working on a few other models too... |
