Dinosaur Juice
Hi there, hoping the experts can provide some clarity and guidance for me.
I have a 1973 G, s/n 1528. My fuel tanks are 60gal each (59.5 on the gauges). I'm hoping someone can tell me if I have the "long-range" tanks or not. The manual is ambiguous on this point. Next question, my right fuel gauge is intermittent. I would like to know if there are any good tips or starting points for troubleshooting this? The left gauge works fine and reads accurately. Lastly, not wanting to spend a ton of money, it seems to me the thing to do would be to put in the CiES senders and Aerospace Logic fuel gauge. Being new to Cessnas, I'm learning lots about the "pennycap" system. Am I correct that I would need six senders for my installation, but a two-tank gauge? Is there a replacement for the pennycap monitors as well? Thanks! |
