It's AirVenture OSHKOSH Time

I thought we should have a thread started on AirVenture 2011. Is anyone going?

I will be flying in on Saturday July 23 and camping on runway 18-36 in Vintage Camping area. I will be staying through Wednesday morning. I know that Robert Morris is flying the Cessna's 2 Oshkosh mass arrival so he will be in the North 40. If you are planning or thinking of coming, with Skymaster or without, please reply so we might all get together over there in Oshkosh land.

I plan to fly (a rental C172) on a one day trip to attend on Friday 29 JUL, when the new Boeing 787 will arrive for a one day AirVenture visit and public tour. I believe that the Boeing 787 is scheduled to arrive at 9AM at AirVenture.
I may also fly (a rental C172) on a second one day trip to attend on Saturday 30 JUL.
Unfortunately, it sounds like you will be gone before I get there.

Owen Bell (Aviation Enterprises) is taking his 700 horsepower Skymaster up there. He has a booth just off Aeroshell Square.
