Swim with a Whale Shark!
We have scheduled the 2008 dates for our Whale Shark trips. Every year, hundreds of Whale Sharks, the world’s largest living fish, congregate off the tropical island of Holbox located at the northern tip of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula. Despite their name, these are docile, filter feeding fish that eat plankton and krill along the surface. We will venture out by boat with local fisherman to where the sharks congregate and snorkel alongside these magnificent creatures. In addition, we will also visit other unique destinations and have opportunities to visit Mayan archeological sites. We have two trips this year; one departs from Brownsville, Texas and the other from Key West, Florida. We would love to have SOAP members join us on this trip.
