Wanted: Rear Cowl Flap Motor Actuator
I know I'm not the first or last person looking for one of these critters, but thought I would post here in case anyone happens to have one.

Can be found on Ebay
Don Nesier, Commodore
Flyingfish has one or two used on ebay. Electrical motors can also be found. Apparently the same as 400 series cowl flap motors. Double check to be sure!

Its also possible to repair these. I had one quit on me a few years ago. the problem was that the wires that enter the motor had worn at the entry point due to the motion of the motor when actuating the cowl flaps. The end of the motor comes off pretty easily with a few screws and then re-soldering is possible. wiggling the wires without disassembly may show intermittent operation as an indicator that this is the issue.
