I appreciate the reply. I have Don on speed dial, and he has become my first call. He doesn't have any caps for the Heavy Duty 18X5.5s.

I might have one lined up. Cessna still sells them, but one is near $600.

Have you tried all the usual places? Preferred Airparts, Dodson, Controller? You can go on Controller.com and put the part number in and it will search

I went through all of them late yesterday, Preferred Airparts had one. I bought it this morning. Crazy price, but I also found a new one for $700!!!

I might have to buy another '77G just so I have spares!

I lost the cap in the last several weeks. Got to tighten up the preflight!

I think I may have a set in the hanger, I believe they were made out of alum

I think I may have a couple of sets in the hanger, I believe they were made out of aluminum. It has been awhile since I saw them. My phone number is 509-386-3745 give me a call anytime.

I appreciate the offer Jim, but I did get a replacement from Preferred Airparts. Had I not have so much money going into this airplane, I would buy at least a spare.
