Mexican Multiple Entry permit, new procedures and SNF
A the request of Caribbean Sky Tours, Mexico’s DGAC (FAA equivalent) has agreed to make some modifications to the entry permit process to speed up the issuance of Multiple Entry Permits as well as resolving some unforeseen problems inherent with Multiple Entry permits at the end of the calendar year. After multiple meetings with the DGAC in Mexico City, the Director General and the legal department of the DGAC agreed that our proposals were sound and consistent with Mexican Civil Aviation law and they have given the green light to go forward with the implementation.
We will be at booth A80 at Sun-N-Fun again this year and will be making several presentations during the week both at the Sun-N-Fun tents as well as the FAA Production Studios. We will be covering these changes to the Multiple Entry process along with a review of procedures, Mexican VFR charts, new destinations and services as well. Please come by and visit with us as we will have lots of information on this along with information on our Pilot Guide, escorted Fly-In’s and Vacation Planning services. For those not able to attend, I will be making a detailed post when we return, it has been crazy here as we just returned from a two week trip through central Mexico (Puebla, Cuernavaca, Oaxaca, Taxco, Huatulco, Puerto Escondido, Queretaro and back to Cancun)and we are getting ready for the flight over to Florida to haul all of our stuff.
