advice required... rich or poor
Hello all 337 expert
After flying 6 years with my great normally aspired U206G, and after a looooooooooong research I finally find my perfect birds... FTB337G Turbo 800 h total / engines & props 190 h As I do not have experience with the turbo technic and managment I decide to install 2 x Garmin EIS 275. On my 206 I used to fly rich of peack. I heard and read that it is possible to fly lean of peack... What about with a 337 turbo... Thanks Alain

Alain,
https://www.avweb.com/features/avweb...s-perch-index/ This man wrote many articles. Some will pertain to your question. He has history with the GAMI people, so he knows what he wrote about. I suggest article 31-36 first... then highly recommend the rest of his stuff. John passed away 2 years ago.. We lost a great man, and a friend to aviation. |

I agree with the advice given by the last post. John Deakin and all his friends at GAMI struck me as some of the most knowledgeable and experienced people available to teach us pilots how to operate our piston engines. All that information will serve you well. I would read every word.
Good luck to you! Ed 😊 |

No not a Reims. Mine is a 73 C337G. However, the referenced information applies to all our reciprocating aircraft engines. 😊
