Also, I found that if you break a bit off in the screw, it lifts out if you spray carb cleaner/starting fluid/ether and follow up with a dental pick. Guess the low boiling point gasses underneath it plus the jet of the spray. Don’t try to drill broken bit stuck in there, they’re hardened. Worst worst worst case you can grind/drill with a narrow cylindrical grinding stone and a dremel if broken bit in screw head. But best not to put enough force on to break a bit and try everything else first.

If you use screw extractor, be sure to drill deep enough and wide enough to get a good grip and not with the smallest one. If it snaps you will be grinding for quite awhile since they’re hardened as well.
