Yeah, I hope to find a MEIL CFI with his own 337 that I could train in. At the end, if I was comfortable with the 337, I would take my check ride in the CFI’s 337 with a 337 DPE in the same area as the CFI. I would train wherever that CFI lives.
If I didn’t think I was up to flying 337s I’d just go home.

You might get ahold of
Mike's Aircraft in Terrell. There is a note that the Apache is out of service right now, but it might be an annual or something of the short term. The website says that the add on is done over 3 to 4 days for $2500.
