Well it turned out that the leak was caused by a crack in the seal of the baggage door.

So mine should be relatively easy to fix - just some weather-stripping material to be applied.

The shop looked at the seal on the back firewall, but couldn't find any problems there. When they talked about the bad seal around the baggage door I got in and checked it out - sure enough there was a gap in the lower rear corner. I can see why flying around in rain could cause the back wall's lower upholstery to get wet.

Anyway, I've sealed the thing up so hope that will do it now.
