It won't work

The engine on the 336 has a fan on the prop shaft, so you don't need the scoop. If you were to remove the fan, add the scoop, you will then need to add the cowl flaps, and their associated hardware. (Think Cowl Flap Motors)
All this would then have to pass FAA inspection, as a MAJOR airframe modification.
It would be a very large expense. And if the FAA doesn't pass it (why should they), you are then stuck trying to re-convert it, and getting the re-conversion signed off.
