When to replace engine compartment hoses?

Where can I find info on when all flexible hoses in the engine compartments MUST be replaced. All I can find are recommendations on when to replace those hoses, but I can't find anything...

The cover to my instrument cluster is cracked and I'm looking for a replacement. The part is C669501-0102 Kit-Instrument Cluster AUX Fuel for a 1965 C337.
