Underwriters

Any insurance agency you talk to will go to one of the 4-5 aviation underwriters. The first call will result in all the underwriters setting a rate, and then no matter what agency you call, it will...

Bob Cook

Bob retired from flying several years ago. His airplane has been sold twice, since then. I have tried on several times to contact him, and the email and phone numbers I have for him don't work.

Oshkosh

I note in my iPad App for Oshkosh, that Delta Hawk has a booth. No idea what they will be showing. They are in booth 257, in the main aircraft display area.

Thanks Herb for pointing out the App.

T337

You folks are overlooking the fact the David already operates a Turbo 337.
I would think that a P model will have very similar maintenance costs to your T337.
The P models have slightly higher gross...

Only one company has certified the 550's in a Skymaster, and that is AirScan. The STC is for only their aircraft. The STC can not be purchased, or used on other aircraft. They also did an STC for...

Strut Mount

There was a company in Detroit, about 8 years ago, that had a video camera mounted to the strut of a 337. I don't remember the name of the company, but the Skymaster was bright red.

I have learned that as part of the certification process for the Delta Hawk engine, they are flying the engine in their Skymaster.
