Cool I have always used vertical compass

From my first helicopter onwards.

But these days, with redundant GPS on board, which always display compass headings,
less critical.

So the turbocharger (Part no 406-970) was upgraded sometime in the past, circa 1998?

Then overhauled more recently 2011. That's 13 years. I can live with that.

So the overhaul was about $3500...

The tape is neoprene 1/16th x 1/2 with one side adhesive,
'closed cell' which can be found on ebay.

Of course my photos are out by 90 degrees, ...but 'work with me...

I'm being very lazy. It's 90 deg F and I am at home, not the airport.

MY rear starter switch sometimes doesn't shut the engine. A tap with an awl should tighten the rivet on the back of the switch...

Snot in injector?

Interestingly enough was having intermittent similar issue. Turned out snot in an injector. One cylinder would clog up as fuel pressure increased. Cleaned snot. All happy.

I had about 500 hours helicopter time. (a personal Enstrom for chasing girls). Then got about 10 hours in a C152, 3 hrs in a C172, then about 10 hours in a 337 w instructors, then bought one.
