One with 3200 hrs 4 of the 6 were frayed -@ 6 to 8 strands

mag removal
I think removing the rear mags and alternator is much easier than on the front because of the access panel. I would remove the mags first. Removing the alt. may be easier if you also remove the oil...

sheared shaft
We had a shaft shear and figured it was the nut wasn't properly
torqued. You could tell by the wear marks on the shaft.
The mechanic that put it on must have torqued the nut then loosened it to line...
