When you adjust mixture, it moves a lever on the fuel pump. It would be interesting to see if setting the mixtures to a sample position you’ve experienced in flight, results in a position of the fuel...

Did that happen all of a sudden or has it been like that for awhile? Linkage under the cowling look right? Does control cable look secured?
