So much for the annual "inspection!" Maybe they didn't have a checklist. Which is a sound reminder that ultimately it is the owner's responsibility for maintaining the airplane in an airworthy...

Hey Fred...

When this thread was started I thought it was Fred Emde in Oklahoma who IS a mechanic... so I guess we should call your attention to the line mechanic and the Cessna 340 a few weeks ago....

Fred, have the strainers been serviced with new O-rings, especially the one in the top?

You're not too specific as to where the leak is originating from and some more details would help out here....
