Under the shop's supervision, I removed the pilot's side windows on my T'67 model and cleaned them. Unfortunateliy, that was about 5 years ago and I can't remember what it was like. I do remember that it was not difficultn, however.

I didn't see a whole lot of difference afterwards, though, as the windows still didn't get real clear like I had hoped.

I just put in new glass. The beading can be bought from aircraft spruce. Part number 05-00952. Or grey weatherstrip from a hardware store. Either one works just fine. $50. verses $6.

Those are called the foul weather windows. Are you talking about the outside windows? If so, I think they use a buhytal rubber. Easily available through RV repair shops.

The small springs to my foul weather window have broken, so the vent window just swings closed. I tried to have my A&P replace the springs, but he said Cessna didn't have these. I would like to have them replace at my annual this month. Has anyone else had to replace these and where did you get them. I've looked on Wicks aircraft and the aircraft spruce websites and can't find them there either.

Thanks,

He had the springs and a handle. I now have what I need to rebuild the Foul weather window.
