336/337 Flap Roller Assembly Question

Just removed all flaps during an extensive first annual on my 336. We found the flap rollers were all in rough shape. Flap tracks are fortunately in good shape.

We found that all of the upper outboard rollers were the narrow roller (P/N 0523920) with proper spacers, but the inboard upper rollers on all four flaps were the wide roller (P/N 0523921) without spacers.

Both the 336 and 337 parts catalogs show that all upper rollers (inboard and outboard) on all flaps are the narrow roller with spacers.

My Question is: Is anyone aware of a service letter or bulletin that recommends this change - or is it just wrong and should be configured as shown in the IPC?

I have been unable to find any documents for the 336/337 that indicate this roller change is correct.

What's the availability? That is what usually dictates the necessity

Yeah, I've seen a lot of laziness that is passed off as necessity. The narrow and wide flap roller parts are common to almost every high wing Cessna made, very readily available. No problems sourcing the correct parts. I'm trying to determine if there's something I'm missing that recommends this change, before I put it back the way it should be as shown in the 336/337 IPCs.
