Asymmetric prop pitch setup

I've been trying to figure out what's wonky about this question, and can't. So here goes:

Has anyone ever experimented with asymmetric setup of pitch? Since the propwash from the front (Ve I think?) is going to be non-trivially greater than the air speed, I'd think that the rear would be optimized at a somewhat greater pitch.

What that experiment would look like, I'm not sure. But one approach might be starting with a symmetric, stabilized setup in calm (or at least consistent) wind conditions, and then pulling back on the rear prop. At that point, you would look for either increase in air speed, or decrease in FF (for same air speed).
