Greetings from Guatemala

(I received this email addressed to webmaster, but since it starts out "To All of You", I thought I would post it for everyone. -Kevin)

To all of you:

ThanKs for including me in your mailing. I really like your site. My
wife and I live in Guatemala, where we operate a school. Our 1969 T337C is equiped with a luggage pod and comes in real handy for hauling books, computers and other equipment from our base in Houston to our school in Guatemala. We also use it for pleasure trips in Central America, Mexico and the U.S. We (five of us) make four to five trips a year between Guatemala and the U.S. and we usually fly between relatives homes throughout the U.S. during school vacations. I have owned several aircraft, but the Skymaster fits us better than any I have flown. I have flown twin Beachcraft, pipers and other cessnas, but no configuration can equal the stability and safety of the push-pull concept.

Sincerely,

O. Lynn Justice

Fuel prices

Kevin,

Maybe you can send these folks a return e-mail and query them as to what aviation fuel is costing down in Central America. I remember hearing someone commenting last year that fuel in Venezuela was on the order of .27 cents a gallon! Wonder if there's any truth to that?

Sure, I can do that. But we have a number of South American members that are active on the board, I bet we will get an answer from them quickly...

Kevin
