Weight & Balance CG location

I just bought a T337E and it seems like the c.g. that came with my official W&B is *very* far forward. If I have two 170 lb adults up front and run the main tanks too low, I'm out of my c.g. envelope forward. I literally cannot come up with a realistic scenario where I'm out of c.g. to the rear - even if I put a 100 lb pilot up front, nobody in the middle, and two 300 lb passengers in the last row.

Does this seem right?

My empty c.g. is 137.7 inches. What's yours?

My empty CG for a 337A is 141.1 at 2,820 lbs. The attached graphic is with a 190 pound pilot and 300 pound co-pilot and no issues with full fuel (128 gallons) all the way down to zero fuel. But if you look at the attached, my empty CG is just about at the aft limit.

That is forward as compared to my 1973 C337G. Empty weight as calculated is 2874.28 and CG is 140.32. I would tend to agree with your evaluation however I say that with extreme caution as I'm no expert. I'd be going through every WB update if I were you and searching for a math error.

Good Luck, keep us posted.

Check that your moment-arms are actually correct.

The AMO who imported my last airplane made them up when they did the W&B, so the airplane was never "in c of g."

When I bought it we redid the W&B with proper arms and voila.
