Is the AP GFC 500 certified on the 337 ?
If not what are you suggest

The only current STC for the 337 is the STEC series, not to include the 3100.

Attached is the list of STC installations for the 337 based on the model. I believe the 55X is the latest and greatest, behind the 3100. I received a couple of verbal quotes for the 55X; with altitude preselect and a few other features*, you are pushing $30K. All the shops said to plan on another $10K to 15K for the installation labor.

*The base for the ST-603(T), which is the 55X for a twin-engine airplane, is $25K.
