Check out LP Aeroplastics. They are part of Texas Aeroplastics. I have no experience with their windshields, other than to see them advertised. However, I have used Texas Aeroplastics for plastics parts such as the center console and throttle quadrant. They were very nice people, and their price was about 1/3 of Cessna.

I went with a post-less windshield. Very nice!!! The kit for it runs about $400 + windshield. Straight forward installation.

My mechanic and I installed an LP Aeroplastics windshield in my old 1969 337D about 3 years ago. Neither of us had ever done it before. It was straightforward but not easy. The instructions that came with the windshield guided us well, but told us to expect certain difficulties, especially in terms of getting it fully into the groove into which it goes, and gave us a phone number to call if we had the slightest trouble. Well, we did encounter the difficulty, we called and got incredibly personal and useful help over the phone. Specifically, we had been about to coat the windshield edges with something (can't remember what) to help it slide into the groove, and the LP guy said NO!, that had we done that we would never have been able to achieve a good seal. Bottom line, have an experienced person do it, or follow instructions to the letter and call LP for even the slightest thing.

Was it very difficult to remove the old windshiel and the old prc?
What did you use to clen it up? did you alodine? Zinc coated?
Did it came with a kit? did you purchase a lp? what do think of C. Bailey?
Is it dificult to trim? Drill?

I don't recall any difficulties, except the one I descibed: forcing it completely into the metal groove. Don't recall problems removing the old one or cleaning the groove (although, as mentioned before, LP was so helpful that I would call them if the instructions don't tell you what to use to clean the old weatherstripping). Don't recall that we had to trim it. Don't recall if we had to drill it (don't think so, but if we did, it was without problems). The windshield came with everything you need that isn't easily available (for instance, it may not have included a standard sealant that you can get anywhere). I didn't buy the windshield, it was in a sealed box when I bought my old Skymaster (the seller hadn't gotten around to installing it). Don't know who/what is C. Bailey.

Bottom line, the instructions were great, the problems we faced were anticipated, LP was super helpful, the task went well.

The STC for the post-less windshield, with the kit, comes from RT Aerospace. Their website is at www.rtaerospace.com and I think no one else does this. It's not listed among the Skymaster mods, but it appears on the Product Price List and covers 337A-F (not G and above).
