Stormscope antenna
 
Can anybody offer advice on the best location for a stormscope antenna on the 337?

You need to perform a skin map before installing a stormscope antenna. Contact an avionics shop and they can do this for you.

My 337G had a stormscope when I bought it. Antenna must be in the right place because it works well. I could tell you where it is if you post a pic of what it looks like or describe it.

Doesn't matter where it is on yours, Ernie.
Tropical is right. When L-3 talked to us in Kalamazoo last year, they said each airplane, even of the same make, is different, and the Avionics shop needs to do a skin map of your airplane for storm scope to work.
