Hello I am looking for anyone that flew or turned wrenches on 02-B's in Vietnam. I had a previous post here but it seemed to have been removed. I have sad news about one of my groups (9TH SOS) birds (67-21469) Here is a brief overview about it and one of its pilots.

The sad news is that I understand that the aircraft was destroyed by heavy weather either this year or last.

Yes, sadly that airplane was destroyed when a tornado hit the Kansas Aviation Museum. This is a pic that I took in 2006

I am trying to locate the person featured in the article below Mr. Myron Janzen. He, as far as I know, was never a member here but I believe several people here knew him. I am trying to get contact info. for him. He flew my 02-B 67-21451 in Vietnam. I met him again several years ago but lost touch of him. If you can help in this regard please send me a private message. Thanks. Oh, by the way check this out. 9th SOS 02-B's over the skies of S. Vietnam.

yes that airplane was definitely destroyed, I have a lot of photographs of it. the fuselage was pretty much intact but everything else was mangled. The tornado that come through also tore up several other airplanes that were outside on static display including a Beech Starship. I pleaded with the museum to store it elsewhere or keep it around but no one ever really responded.
