Tips for removing aux tank 337B?

Just looking to get any tips on how to remove before it turns into the inevitable pandora’s box.

Need to remove it to gain access to the front nut plates on that bay and also the rear nut plates by the boom fairing. Need to replace about 10 nut plates that didnt make it after removing the aux fuel bay cover. I never thought replacing fuel senders would be this complicated.

I've had my main tanks and the aux tanks out. Be sure you follow the service manual, make sure you support the wing to remove the upper wing panels, they are structural. Not remembering if you need to support to just access the inboard Aux tank but the service manual will know. Those upper wing panels can be difficult to remove. Plan on stripping / breaking several screws. The panel tucks under the boom skin and is a bugger to RnR

I plan on updating to the CIeS system which will require placement of their fuel level sensors. I take it this means you couldn’t find a way of accessing the sensor area properly without removing the upper wing panels? My first glance a few months ago suggested that that was the case...
