337 AL250 c-17

I flew the twin engine turbine 337 in Vietnam late 69 to 71 worked for Air America, than Evergreen till 99. There was 6 with our group. My main Aircraft was the Fairchild with the Garret 337 engine. First was the 25aa than we installed a 101 with a lot more HP.
I think there was a lot more 337T's than our 6, they arrived in a container and we put them together. The original engine was the C-17, we converted all to a C-20B. We only had Hot Section Kits for a C-20. No matter the Prop gearbox made metal in 600 hours running.

All of the equipment was to be left behind for the Royal Tie Air force, but not all stayed, ever heard of Marina.

I have never heard of or seen a TWIN TURBINE Skymaster. I searching around the internet and could not come up with anything. Do you have photos or specs on such a conversion?

Go on internet go to Pictures open 337 go about to pages down and there I am I will post some more if I can find them. Have you seen them with drop fuel tanks and Gun hard points. Early days we hung hanger'nads from the tie downs with a string on the pin. [I can't spell] to chase things off runways.

What do you mean by Pictures? Are you referring to Google Images? Can you get the page on your screen, copy the URL (the page title or address near the top, starting with "http....") and put that URL in your next message?
