Oxygen above 7,500 ft?

Anyone heard of a proposed rulemaking which will require oxygen above 7,500 ft? Even for 1-2hrs above7,500 ft?

NO

Ernie, I took my IFR 45 days ago, and in the oral, we talked about oxygen, and there was no mention of a change.

oxygen

howdy: flying mag recent edition chronicles a 337t that mistakenly used compressed air rather than oxygen. After reaching 27,000 , Both occupants doze. Lastly the airframe crashes. Miracuously the passenger is alive. JCH
