Passing of a Skymaster owner

Ed Coffman passed away in June of this year. He was the owner of Orion Aviation which had 6 Skymasters.

He/they had unique use and experience with skymaster operations, Right?

We used them for air attack work for the Forest service, did marine mammal surveys, we tracked bats, wolf, pine beetles, bears. We helped NASA look for shuttle parts(Columbia).I worked with Ed for 30 years and there was always a unique project going on.

My Condolences

I'm sorry to hear of Ed's passing. Another man with a wealth of Skymaster knowledge that cannot be replaced.

Will the company continue operations?

Hello
Sad to hear that. I was trying to contact him.
Do you know if someone is taking his business ?
Thanks

Alain

135 Certificate Orion

All, The 135 certificate is for sale if someone would be interested or knows someone who might be interested. I know this because I had a call today from an associate who knows Mrs Coffman and he relayed to me her desire to sell. If anyone can make this happen for her that would be a nice thing to do. I believe there is a Kodiak and a C185 still on the certificate which are also for sale.
