Mechanics Overseas with A&P and IA

Is anyone aware of a facility and/or person in the Persian Gulf Area ( United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Saudi, etc. ) with A&P and IA or Field Repair Station qualifications, and who would be able to do an annual inspection on a T337G ( pressruized ) Skymaster?

Sorry, no one really close by you. I can highly recommend my A&P IA in Coventry UK. He does a pretty reasonable job on my 1977 FT337GP. He does travel a bit, and you might chat with him and see if he will do it or he may know of someone. He lets me do all the initial work on opening the aircraft and then supervises anything else that has to be done. Call Robert at Aerotech on +44-2476306888.

There are folks in Cyprus who apparently know 337's, but I don't have any direct experience with them, but one person I know spoke highly of them. I can get you a name and number if you want.

My plane used to be looked after by a group in Germany and although I figure they only did a so so job, I can get you their details is required.

Another suggestion is to try one of the US military bases. Although you may not find someone with 337 experience, there are often A&P IA's on a rotation who might be able to assist. See if there are local US military flying clubs.

My apologies,.....

I realize now I should have mentioned that I need an FAA ( United States ) A&P with an IA or Field Repair Station License.

My Aircraft is US Registered.

Thanks Dave

Had not thought of the US Military Base idea.

All of the folks I mentioned are FAA A&P IA's. I'm N reg as well.

Another thought is to keep your eyes open and whenever you see an N reg plane, ask them where they go for maint.

The Dubai Air show is coming up next week.

From past experience I have seen N- planes there. Hopefully there may be one or two there this year.
