OIL LEAKS ON THE FRONT, MINE IS A NORMAL ASPIRATED BUT I FOUGHT THE FRONT FOR MANY YEARS (15 OR SO) AND FINALLY FOUND THE SHAFT SEAL ON THE LAND GEAR PUMP. IT'S A LITTLE TRICKY TO REPLACE WITHOUT PARTIALLY PULLING THE ENGINE BUT WE GOT IT DONE AND IT HAS HELPED.

ALSO CHECK THE ALTINATOR SEAL
IT TOO CAN BE A SOURCE

Thriple H, 2H4 also has a flyin this coming Saturday, the 15th. BTW, 4H2 has one of the better flyin's in Michigan. It is however a tricky field to land on being 2400 grass with 70 foot trees on the north side RW 01. I've landed there several times and for those without the STOL kit you must be on the mark and ready for go around. But it is fun...

Remember, with the Skymaster the POH for my 1975 P337G states to add 50 percent to the ground roll when landing on grass. When you account for that, 2400 feet becomes short. But Herb, I know..... I seen you land and turn off in less than 800 feet...But you have to remember ...your an ACE I'm not!

Question, is it JXN for breakfast followed by 4N0 on the 16th or what?

I would prefer 16th at JXN, in the early AM. I'm over to MDW on Thurs and Fri, then back there on Sunday noon.

Since I'm moving my plane to 4N0, it would be cool to do JXN in the early AM for breakfast, then 4N0 after that.

DID I MISS SOMETHING SOMEWHERE? WHAT IS AT 4NO ON SUNDAY? OTHER THAN I WOULD LOVE TO SEE LARRY'S PROPERTY. IS THERE A SOME OTHER REASON TO VISIT 4NO? IS NOBODY INTERESTED IN TORCHPORT? IT'S REALLY NICE UP THERE.

Actually, saturday. Pool is in, should be full of water, new house is well under construction, 3 weeks to completion. Hangar is up, Miracle Truss, 51 x 60.

WELL 4 337'S IN FORMATION IS REALLY UNIQUE STUFF.
UNFORTUNITLY, WE AREN'T THE BLUE ANGELS BUT IT IS STILL REALLY EXCITING TO EXPERIENCE.

AS HARD AS IT IS, TO GET ALL 4 PLANES TOGETHER, FOR A PICTURE WHEN THE CAMERA SHIP IS ACTULALLY ONE OF THE 4 THAT IS IN FORMATION, IS TOUGH. I THOUGHT MAYBE WE COULD GET AT LEAST 3 OF THE 4 TOGETHER BUT IT DID NOT HAPPEN SO I THOUGHT, OK THEN 2 OF THE 4 TOGETHER AND THAT DIDN'T TURN OUT EITHER. SORRY GUYS BUT TAKING PICTURES FROM THE AIR WITH A DIGITAL CAMERA THAT YOU'RE NOT FAMILIAR WITH, MY RIDER, AND I DID NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH LETTING HIM FLY WHILE I USED MY CAMERA. SO CHIP TRIED HIS BEST BUT DID NOT LAY DOWN ANY REALLY GOOD FILES.

I DO HAVE ONE OF YOU KEVIN, AND ONE OF LARRY AND GERRY TOGETHER THAT IS OK. I DO HAVE A COUPLE OF GERRY THAT ARE FAIR. I'LL FORWARD THEM TO YOU ON E MAIL BUT I NEED YOUR E MAIL KEVIN.

HAD A GREAT TIME, NEED TO DO IT AGAIN WITH A BETTER CAMERA SHIP AND SOMEONE THAT CAN TRY SOME BETTER SHOTS. WOW, SOUNDS LIKE AN EXCUSE TO FLY AGAIN.

I'm in for that. Next gathering that Herb mentioned was 3 rivers, on June 20. It would be great if we could all meet up someplace and go down together. I'll bring a camera along, and have someone who can shoot it. Anytime between now and then would be great for formation shots from the air.

Thanks to you folks, it was a great experience. Herb, when you pulled straight up, that was just awesome. I'll remember to bring camera from now on. Maybe get some video of all us together.

Oh, you know, all you folks in neighboring states, if you have an event, maybe it could be a flight of 6 instead of a flight of 4. I think AZO Approach thought I was joking when I told them we were a flight of 4 Skymasters. He asked, what type are the other aircraft. ALL SKYMASTERS !!!

June 20, we are meeting at Jerry's hangar, in BTL. Fly down to 3 rivers (HAI) for breakfast. All are welcome to join us. More the merrier.
