My FE alternator sheared the shaft and I am looking for a servicable or overhauled replacement. The data plate off the existing alternator shows the part number as follows:
DOFF10300D 60 amps
The gear assembly is intact.
Kelly Aero (Ft. Deposit, AL, I think) has an OH'd unit (no core exchange) for about $650 but my mechanic questions their work.
I have contacted Don Neiser and he is searching his inventory for one.
If you know of another OH company or have had good results from Kelly, I'd like to know.
